The brief
NHS SWL Alliance wanted to reach young people in their region to promote their online mental health services run through the Kooth platform.
The film would be used on social media and promote the benefits of the service and emphasise confidentiality.
Our solution
Script
With our script, we wanted to destigmatise mental health issues and talk about exploring mental health as a very important and normal thing to do.
Visual storytelling approach
As the service is delivered in the main through smart phones, we decided to set the animation within the context of a phone – and use language and visual cues that would resonate with young people. Finally, we cast a voice that felt real and peer-to-peer.
