Introducing Verizon’s tech-driven media agency.

Ryot are Verizon’s (Previously AOL’s) in house, technology-focused media agency. They’re firmly focused on embracing new technology to push brands’ digital presence to new heights.

They had a big industry event coming up and they wanted to try something different to introduce themselves to their audience. Rather than turning the camera on themselves or documenting their cutting edge ‘behind-the-scenes’ process they wanted to try something completely new: an animated storytelling approach.

Solution

Straight away we saw that even though they’re pushing the boundaries of content creation using the latest tech: 360 video, AR, VR, AI (you name it they’re using it), they’re not all about tech. They’re real people and they’re a really friendly bunch. This is why their clients love them.

We turned the team into characters and put them into their own animated Ryot world, bringing their key USPs to the forefront of the story putting them ‘in the picture’ with it.

Delivery & Result

Tis animation captured Ryot’s collaborative spirit at every turn and the event audience couldn’t help but fall in love with them.

We made a super-widescreen version for the event and it was played as an intro to a sizzle of their best work.

We also delivered a standard 16:9 version which they sent out to existing and prospective clients as well as publishing on social.

The piece was a conversation starter between current/future clients and the Ryot team. Welcome to the Ryot factory!
