The brief


Tuddl is a digital performance and wellbeing coach for the age of inclusive hybrid working. Designed by a team of psychologists and engagement experts, Tuddl’s technology exists to create balance and boost productivity for teams in the post-pandemic world.

Tuddl is an early-stage venture and we were hired to create an animated marketing film for their launch. It was absolutely paramount that the film stand out from the crowd by making a strong case for adoption, all the while fitting into a modest budget.

Our solution


Collaboration

During the early stages of the project we collaborated with The Culture Builders, Tuddl's sister company, to prepare an animation-ready script. A team of expert thinkers and copywriters, their team lead the process and we were happy to act as a humble sounding board. Ultimately this helped them to maximise their budget by deploying greater resource to the illustration/animation stages later in the project.

Keeping it simple

This project was all about balance. We asked the question “How can we make the biggest impact without stretching the budget”? The answer was a combination of ‘going big’ on some sections, for example the opener of the film where we felt characters would have a fantastic impact, and stripping back other areas to simple, bold typography and minimal design elements for a strikingly simple look. With such clear benefits this worked perfectly, giving the script room to breathe and hammering home the key points with confident simplicity.
