The brief
UP3 provide second-to-none implementation and managed services to organisations using ServiceNow to transform their business.
Technology products can be tough to explain clearly and quickly - but what about the complexities of a managed technology service? This was the challenge we wanted to solve for UP3.
Our solution
Communicating value, not process
The more we learned about UP3 the more we realised that the real value comes from the elimination of risk to their clients (via their remarkable expertise and processes). Simply put - they take away the headaches and guarantee success. So we reflected this in the story. 1. What are the risks? 2. How are UP3 eliminating them?
A ‘grown up’ style with a quirky twist
Ultimately the value of a managed service is in the knowledge and skill of the team behind it. So from the moment we started thinking about the visuals we knew that simple illustration or ‘techy’ visuals weren’t going to cut it. Neither were dry, corporate interviews. We wanted to inject more personality than we would with a product film, for example.
To capture the essence of the brand and the people behind it we created a mixed media, collage-driven animation with a hint of comedic timing to drive home a compelling and hard to ignore case for adoption.
Result
The final result is a managed service explainer animation with rare impact. Initial feedback from UP3’s client base is that the video solves a challenge that not many are able to - To quickly and clearly sell a managed service and to generate memorability with a few smiles along the way.
